My 2009 2500HD does not have a drain plug on the trans pan. Should the pan be dropped and filter changed at the recommended intervals everytime or is it beneficial to install a drain plug and change the fluid more often and not change the filter as often?

Get a pan with plug in it.Summit sells 'um.Make life alot easier when you change filter

The trans filter is more important than the fluid now a days. There are very small screens that protect the electric solenoids so if you filter doesn't get every thing the screens plug up faster. If you change filter and fluid every year everyone would put me out of work.
