i have a 2008 gmc sierra with the 5.3 motor and when i shift from 2nd to 3rd gear i get a noise like somthing is rubbing or somthing but doesnt happen in any other gear what could this be and also it only happens when i am at light throttle it does not happen at wot

New one on me, but it sounds like something I'd let the dealer check out, you should still be under warranty.
