when i stop and then take off again there's a little slack and it makes a squeak sound. i read somewhere that its something to do with the yoke. i only have 34,000 miles on my truck so nothing should be worn out. its just irritating to me. anyone know?????

sounds like a u-joint to me

I would put the truck in neutral and put the e brake on and go underneath it and check all the u joints for any slack by twisting the drive shaft back and forth and watch the u joints to see if they have any play in them
