2005 Chevy Silverado SS AWD

Postby boonspd12 [OP] » Oct 20 2011, 3:03am

I am selling my 2005 Victory Red Siverado SS AWD. I am the orignial owner. The truck is in immaculate condition and has been kept covered and garaged when not in use. The current mileage reads 67,611. This vehicle has never been wrecked and looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. I always get complements on how good it looks. This is not a daily drive vehicle and just sits in the garage. It's upgrades include: Flowmaster (I believe it's a 50 series, I can't quite remember) split from the muffler into 2 K&N intake Street Scene tailgate wing, painted to match Victory Red with blue Chevy Bowtie in center. (This accents the truck very nicely and gets compliments all the time). Front grill has been painted bright silver to match SS emblems, Chevy Bowtie up front has also been painted blue to match rear wing Pioneer Avic F900BT Navigation System\ Line X under the rail bed lining (Done prior to pickup from dealer when new) Undercoated (Done prior to pickup from dealer when new) I am asking for 19,000 and will negotiate best offers.

I have attached pictures. More information and pictures are available to those interested.

I have added better pictures of the truck. The pictures are shown with projector headlights, otherwise this is how it looks. I no longer have them on the truck, I have placed the stock headlights back on the vehicle. I do have the projectors and will supply them upon sale.

Did you have any problems with the transfer case causing a binding condition on tight turns when hot? We call it "crow hop".

The only problem I had with the truck was resolved under warranty. I had a knock in the steering column when you would turn the wheel during slow turns. The dealer stated they had fixed it by greasing it. I took it back and had them replace the column. I've had no problems since. The truck runs great with plenty of power.

There is an easy solution to the steering column knock without replacing upper intermediate shaft. I just completed the modification last night. Worked wonders. Took about 30-40 minutes, a little grease and silicone. But knock seems to be completely gone. Without warranty coverage it saves the wallet.
