99 Sierra 4X4 Z71 7" lift on 34" tires

Postby 99SierraZ71 [OP] » Jan 15 2011, 12:59am

My truck is not perfect, but it's in good shape and very reliable. I bought it in 2004 with 49,000 mile on it. It has 145,000 mile on it now. I've never had 1 problem with it. I work in the automotive industry so it's very well taken care of. Oil always changed regularly with full synthetic oil. Truck is loaded.

Engine
5.3L
Drop in K&N
Magnaflow cat back system with stainless steel tips
Superchips programmer Has 3 different tunes available. I use the 87 octane tune. You can also make you own custom tune.

Interior
Leather interior with some rips on drivers seat
Aftermarket wood trim package
Power windows
Power door locks
Power mirrors
Power seats on both sides
Heated seats on both sides
I replaced the stock gray carpet in 2004 when I bought it with navy blue carpet
Cruise control
Tilt wheel
On the fly 4 wheel drive
Tow package with electric brake controller
After market CD player, speakers, 600 Watt amp with 2 10's under the rear seat.

Suspension
34” tires
Chrome American Racing wheels
3” body lift
1 ton rear springs
4” suspension lift with 1 ton rear springs
Total of 7" lift
Rancho adjustable shocks

Exterior
Rubber bed mat
Fiberglass bed cover painted to match truck
Nerf bars
Billet grill
Cadillac Escalade door handles
Billet tailgate handle
PIAA off road lights behind the grill
Projector head lamps with 6000K HIDs
Tinted windows
The clear coat is starting to peel off in a few spots, but over all the truck looks good
Chrome is bubbling a little on the stock part of the grill
Small ding on lower part of drivers door
Small ding in front bumper

These pictures are about 6 months old. There is a ding in the front bumper that is not pictured. I will put up a new picture of the front bumper tonight.

Current picture of front bumper added. The truck still looks as good as it does in the rest of the pictures....when it's that clean. LOL

Still not sure why you want to sell. Especially for a Ford. But of course, we are all biased here. Your truck looks like my old one--the drivers seat is worn a bit, but the back seats are pristine. That's what happens when we like to drive a lot.
Good luck selling...I am sure it's going to sell quickly. If you go with another GM truck, you have the added benefit of hanging around here with the cool folks on this site!

I wish GM offered a truck from the factory with forced induction, but they don't. I'm wanting something with either a supercharger or turbo. Thr F150 Lightning ot HD F150 seemd to be my only choices as far as a factory set up is concerned. I will more then likely still come on here. I can always use another forum to help me kill time at work. Plus I sell auto parts for 26 years now so cars are my life. Here's my other Ford. Please don't ban me LOL.

Nice truck and great condition, should have no problem finding a buyer.

Why not get a silverado or sierra and have a shop do a procharger on it or a whipple :) Something tells me a 1/2 ton with a 6.2 and procharger would just be a mean sleeper :) Just my 2 cents LOL

I don't want payments. I have a few grand saved up. That with what I get for my truck I should be able to find something nice. I have a few friends that have their own shops so luckily if a job is too big for me to handle I get it done for free.

9 grand seems pretty cheap considering how nice your truck is. I bet you could get 12 grand or more around here.

You think so. The KBB private sale value is only $8500.

I don't think KBB really calculates all of the mods accurately. None of them do. Once you get past the basics, the beauty (and value) is in the eye of the beholder.
A guy out looking for your average work truck is not going to buy yours, or will low ball you an offer. But for someone looking for a modded truck, who maybe does not have the expertise or time to do it himself, he'll pay top $$$$ for your ride.
