Chevy Reaper

Postby TJHOULE14 [OP] » Jan 17 2014, 2:53am

Digging around today I came across this hopefully upcoming beast;
http://www.autoevolution.com/news/2014- ... 74927.html

There wasn't much else around the internet for specs or pics, but I'm dying for more. Hopefully Chevy finally created a means of competing with the Raptor. In a week and a half we should get more info on it but as of now its looking nasty!

Knowing GM, they'll screw it up somehow. Overcharge for it and use a puny drivetrain. Not sure they have learned since they went BK.

Guess we'll have to wait and see. Like others have said, GM will find a way to screw it up. I always liked Ironhide from the Transformers movies, but I think it's probably too heavy of a truck to fast and nimble. However, the older I get, the less I care about going fast....unless I'm at work.

Does this vehicle anything to do with gm though? Raptors are made at a factory assembly line. This reaper appears to be through southern comfort which from what I've gathered from previous post and trucks I've seen, is just a custom shop.

I've seen a few embers here post trucks at the lot from southern comfort and most are just one of a kind custom vehicles the dealerships being in.

Maybe I'm wrong but to me this has nothing to do with gm designers.
