I just found out that i have a toolbox in the engine compartment.
I have an oily rag, some engine oil, new oil filter, and a new thermostat, and some basic tools.
What do you have in yours? :D

I know lots of people put battery boxes in the 2nd battery spot in the NNBS trucks and use them as a toolbox. I plan on doing it as well.

Yup anyone really familiar with our trucks know about the boxes under the hood as well as the corded work lights. Great place to carry a quart of atf and oil as well as rags, spare bulbs and fuses or that small bag of dope.

Yes I purchase a Plano Ammo Box ( plastic ) works great water tite am a little worried about it in the summer heat . i just keep some small hand tools ( screwdrivers ,adjustable wrench ,a few Torx drivers , knife in it along with a extra mega fuse just in case fits well in second battery location

 I did the battery box and got a corded light too, but have not had the time to mount it. Currently it is stored in the battery "tool box"

I still have some trimming to do so I can put a lid on it and keep drier :?

Battery box mod: holds 6 ratchet straps, tiny tire air compressor, and jumper cables

^^ My 93 Suburban had one. Here is a band new on on an Ebay auction, excellent price considering they seemed to be going for around $50.00 when I purchased mine. You manually turn the lamp on and off and when you pull the lamp out it has a magnetic base on the back of the bulb holder so you can stick it anywhere.

My '90 K2500 had the corded light. Would reach to the rear of the truck and had a magnet on it.
