I love my work truck and wanna show the whole world!!!

Postby halo2jak [OP] » May 20 2011, 9:12am

I'm new to this forum, but I just had to join after I hit this milestone with my work truck. It's a 2008 Chevy Silverado 2500HD, and I'm thinking it has the allison transmission in it, because we've never had to replace it, or do an engine rebuild. The only thing that we've had to replace on this thing was the windshield wiper motor. This truck is so amazing, and I want to climb a mountain and scream with excitement, but there are no mountains in Indiana! I deliver auto glass for PGW, and I drive this company truck about 350 miles a night! I just want to show anybody that is looking to buy a truck that these suckers are built to last. Take a look at the pics. It's got quite a bit of miles on it for a 2008! Was just wondering what mileage are you guys at? I love these trucks, I'm definitely buying one when I get my two vehicles paid off.

That is impressive. I hope I can get that kind of miles and great service out of my 2011. If so, both my boys will be driving it when the time comes!

That's a nice setup on your work truck. Never seen a side door like that.

took you until 300K to decide? Just pickin' man... I'd be satisfied with half that prior to any significant repairs (the way I drive).

Thanks for sharing.
