Hey all, Wanted to post a few pics of my nephews first truck. Its a 1979 Chevy 4x4 . He has been working on it for months and is about as proud as a 19 year old can get. Its still a work in progress, but its really starting to look like something. Our race team pitched in on a motor and tune. Sucker gets with the program. Dropped in a 406 with some stout heads and that truck will pin you to the seat. My nephew about filled his shorts the first time he ran thru the gears. He is so proud of his ride, so I told him I would post pics on the best forum on the planet,, He dosnt have much $$$ or internet access, and is comming over today, so I wanted to get this posted so I could see his face light up . Hope ya all enjoy,,,

That is a beautiful truck. In Chevrolets 100th anniversary year, it is nice to see a truck like this. It is also nice to see a youngster interested in such a hobby. Looks like he was raised well. Keep up the great work.

You know it is probably a 69. My old brain had 79 stamped on it, He should be over soon. We get kinda busy in the shop getting ready for the new season. I will ask him what year it is. I know he cabbaged some body parts on his rebuild. Anyone else know what year this this really is..
