Maybe I need to update my address with them. I know I receive all kinds of marketing mail from them, but I haven't received any recall info since I moved last year.

I have received them (sadly) on both of my vehicles. The Sierra, and my GMC Acadia. They do still mail them. So yes, update your info.

Anyone heard of a recall for "Transmission dipstick tube fracture?" I had my truck at the dealership today and this was taken care of. The recall came out October 2012. I didn't see it listed using the link above. (my invoice listed *12138* as the cause, if that means anything to anyone)

Thanks! I hadn't gotten anything from my dealer about this. And my truck was at the dealership last November for an oil change and they didn't say anything.

Time for a new dealer.
First thing my dealer does when I come in, is run a seach of applicable TSB's and recalls. They did not want me to leave last time without getting the dipstick tube done. I was in a hurry, and went back a bit later.
A good dealer is VERY valuable.

If anyone would like me to run their VIN for them to check on open recalls or warranty status I would be happy to help out in this aspect as well. Just send me a private message with the VIN and a reference to this. Thanks! I look forward to assisting anyone who needs it.
