End of month is a good time or watch for incentive months when factories give rebates. If you are patient you can buy a truck at a great price. Patient is the key word here. Also, shop and price on edmunds.com so you know what things are going for...be prepared and patient and you'll do just fine.

Hmm I dint know about that tax, that a nice tips. thank you !. I will be patient and mabe I try convert my gf to getting a new tahoe and dick her ford expedition , try get her to the dark side.

Leftovers are always great to buy, problem is finding one you want as the picking gets slim.

I just ordered a 2013 2500HD. Reason I couldn't find a 12 with the options I needed. One being I won't buy a white truck and there are not many WT's that aren't white. You may have better luck looking at the LT's or LTZ's. The 12's don't have all that great incentive at this point but if you wait they will get much better.

Something to also think about.

1. 2012 models productions have halted so if you wait too long, you may not find what you are looking for if you keep waiting.
2. Even if you got a 10k discount off MSRP when you bought the truck end of the year, the 2012 truck probably has dropped 15k in value because it's the previous model year.
3. Don't lease if your want to wait.
