This is going to keep StarSpangled and EKinMN (and probably most of our Canadian members) up at night figuring how thay can find the cash for this mod.

The Track-N-Go is a bit different than the Mattrack system. The Mattracks bolted directly to the hub so you had to take the wheel off. The other issue I remember from Battle Griffen 99 in Norway was that we broke a lot of steering racks and pumps on the HMMWVs. There was a technique in driving with the tracks. You had to be moving before you made any steering inputs. This would help avoid putting undue stress on the steering system.

Ehhhhhhh too pricey, and I don't think they would work well on pavement. Remember, when I'm plowing, most of the time the tires are on dry pavement. Thanks for thinking of me, though .

saw this vid a while back, another member posted it. These things are sweet, for anyone who maybe goes off the beaten path to go hunting and such, seems like a solid concept, but a little $$ ( like any new technology I guess...

Don't know how I missed this the first time...that thing is frickin' sweet. Completely unnecessary I think, unless you're into Ice Road truckin', rather have 6 snow mobiles for the amount that probably costs.
