Warranty

Postby hdawgfate06 [OP] » Jan 20 2011, 7:07pm

so the other day i was driving and someone pulled out in front of me and i pushed the horn and hit the brakes pretty hard and i happen to push right where the bow tie is in the center of the steering wheel, my truck is brand new only 4k miles on it and now my logo on the steering wheel has a dent in it. i was wondering if anyone has had this problem before and if anyone thinks i can get it fixed under the warranty. i mean its not like i misused the horn, i feel like it should be covered but the yall know how the dealers are....

That's hilarious! No offense, just crazy it's actually dented!

That being said, call em up man. Bumper to bumper doesn't mean cosmetic right? Let us know!

you might have to talk to them a bit and see if they will change it for you. the issue i had was on 2002 denali after 2 weeks was the arm rest broke off and the dealer said it was not covered. i argue it and said that my child was the only one that used it and she was only about 5 years old. lots of parts are poorly made. stand up to the dealer or they will not do anything.
