how can i keep the fogs on with the hibeams on a 2008 K1500? I wired my last truck to do this and keep the low beams on with the hi beams (relay system). loved the light.

The Bright Box but I am not sure if they have been able to make it work with DRL yet
http://www.truckcustomizers.com/product ... rucks.html

I had this on my Ford and I am currently using one on my 99 Bonneville that actually does have DRL. I contacted the manufacturer direct a couple years ago and at that time they had not made one that works with the DRL. Using it on my Bonnie causes the low beams to work as DRL instead of the highBeams and this car has the dash display that shows when I bulb is out, so that causes it to go off when I use the highbeams. Car thinks a bulb is out till I turn them off. Other than that it works great and has not caused an issue with anything else. I also switched the lowbeams out for highbeam bulbs to see better when not using highbeam. I am not trying to tell anyone to go out and buy this as I do not know the effect it can cause on your vehicle, I am just saying that if it is possible they may have something by now. I love having this on my car as I did with my last truck too.

Also this actually keeps the lowbeams and Fogs on wth the hghbeams... talk about bright

on my ford the fogs were grounded to the hi beam indicator light. all i had to do is cut that wire and ground it out.
I seen that as an option before going with the bright box. The reason I went with this instead of doing the ground wire was first, this also kept the lowbeams on too where doing that did not and second, because this option was a simple plug in and play. I only needed to unplug one headlight and one foglight and plug them into the box then plug the box in into the headlight and fog. Then hook it up to the battery. A cave man could do it LOL! Loved that mod on mine and my current car too :D

my lows are on with my Hi beams already.
Just check and mine are on too. I did not know that's how it works in a Chevy. Thanks :D
