I am in the market for a 03-06 silverado 1500, i plan to lower / level it on 24's. would like to close up the wheel well gap as much as possible without any rub! I have been all over the place looking at lowered silverados, with 2/4 drops, 3/5 drops, etc... but no one seems to specify all of the details, like what type of kit they used, size of the rims / tires. Basically post pictures of your truck, what kit you used, how low it is in front and back, and what size rims / tires you are running to help me get an idea if possible. Any and all input is appreciated!
sorry for the small dark image but it's the only one i have of my 01 after my computer was stolen
truck: 2001 chevy silverado ecsb w/ 5.3l
drop: 2/4 drop
front specs: mcgaughy's 2" drop spindle w/belltech nitro drop shocks
rear specs: mcgaughy's 2" drop shackles and 2" drop hangers w/belltech nitro drop shocks
Here's mine: 04 Sierra SLT with Belltech drop spindles and lowering springs in the front and Belltech hanger/shackle combo in the rear with Belltech street shocks all around. Installed a McGoughy C-section kit to the rear to prevent bottom out against the frame. Comes out to roughly a 4/6 drop. 22" Demota wheels wrapped with 265/35/22 tires.
