I was filling up at the same shell i've filled up for years and noticed a huge difference on prices. ARCO across the street was $3.75 while shell was at $3.86.
Just curious how much people are paying for gas and how long it last? (please state price and location)
Usual cost for me in west texas is around 3.90 give or take for 92 octane... however last time i was home i did swing by my usual E-85 station and they had it for 2.82 a gallon!! what what!! Hope its that way in june as well
It's not in the poll, but $3.57 for E85 in Western, Pa. That's what I've been using and even with a 1.5 mpg loss, I'm still coming out a little on top.
Everyone kept saying it was gonna get high...but USA Today just ran an article anticipating it to cap at a national average of $3.91 around Memorial Day. Seemed to think the $5 rumors were a thing of the past...here's hoping.
$3.60 for 87, most stations around here have some sort of cash card too.... 5 cents off a gallon so I'm getting it for $3.55 a gallon. It's been coming down all week too. Monday it was $3.79 for 87.
$4.07 is about the cheapest you can get in Southern NY, i should swing over to P.A to save myself 20 cents... Actually i lied, the res is probably $3.80
To get the approximate difference between Can./U.S. gas prices take the cost of a liter and multiply it by 3.78 . In this case 1.44 x 3.78 = 5.4432 or about $ 5.44 per U.S. gallon
Ps I'm in the same boat .....
I filled up sat. for 3.99,,, i pretty much just kiss a 100 dollar bill away each time i pull to the pump..usually i have enough left over for lunch at mc'd's or taco bell after i fill it up..lol
