Has anyone tried or heard Dynomax VT mufflers on a truck? The no drone portion of it has me intrigued. While I don't mind it, this is a truck the whole family rides in and when I had a Hemi Charger with Flowmasters on it, they really were bothered by the drone at about 1700 - 2000 RPMS. Thanks for any advice.
I was eye ballin that muffler, but decided to go with the Flowmaster 70 last year. Moving parts in a muffler just dont seem like they would last before something siezed.
Hopefully a member will chime in that has one on there truck, and give a report.
Then none of you should ever drive an 18 wheeler if you think drone is bad! LOL. Nothing wrong with drone! I dont know why anyone would say that. Its a v8 its meant to be loud!

Thanks for all the advice. Drone does suck. I loved the way my Charger sounded with two 40 flowmasters on it, but when I got on the highway, it would get almost deafening inside while driving with the drone. Thanks again everyone.
I installed the VT about month and a half ago, no drone, nice rap when you step on it! I've noticed mine cuts down to 4cyl quite a bit more now! Improved mileage minimal, but up a bit, still looking for more, I believe a tuner is coming into my near future. I now have Airaid CAI, throttle spacer and duel exhaust, after tuner, whats next? Any Suggestions (still on warranty).
