Ok I got a 1997 chevy silverado 2wd 4.3 v6. Its pretty much made to look like an SS clone. I was just wondering if anyone new of a good performance chip or module. I preferably would want one of those one where you plug it into the engine diagnostics plug in under the steering wheel. Thanks hope to here from u guys.

I recommend you start looking on sites like autoanything and stylintrucks or the actual tuner sites like Diablo Sport, Hypertech, and so on and see if they even have anything for that year model of truck. I know that I had a Jet (piggy back) and Hypertech (OBD II cable load) on my 99 Silverado 4.3 and did prefer the Hypertech of the Jet. Now I am running the Diablo Sport inTune (currently being custom tuned by Lew, aka 06MonteSS) and wouldn't go with anything else.
