Hi Friends,
On the 2002 Silverado 1500 LS 4.3L, I am trying to change the intake manifold gaskets. I am stuck at removal of the fuel lines between firewall and upper intake manifold. I have the proper removal tool but it is hard.. It is very little room to work and I do not see behind two fuel lines bracket; Do you have any suggestions how to remove the two lines?
Thanks,
Petric

Not really, according to alldata, and what you've told me and my experience, you are just starting to take it apart. I can't really help or offer any advice if you have the proper tool for fuel line removal. Just have to find a different angle to approach the lines.

Thanks, At least, I am trying not to break anything! I used a mirror to see the line fittings. They were not quick connect. I removed the fuel lines with regular wrenches 5/8 and 3/4. Still, the upper manifold is held down some how..by the place where the pipes go in....
