Okay so my truck that i bought has the W/T Package, and the only differences i notice is my floors are plastic, i have no Power windows or locks, and i have no Badges on my truck... Is there something im not getting or is it just basically the base model?\

That's it. It's a no frills work truck.

Cheapest for the business owner and like literaly some of them dont even come with a/c

I like the hard flooring...easy to clean!

(Just don't use armor-all on it!)

I wouldn't mind a work truck. It's your, get in, start up, work, get out, go home type of truck! But then I would still want skid plates on it.

My brother bought the 4.3L W/T this summer. He says he loves the highway mileage on it when he goes up north in Michigan.

I love my WT I just added stuff to make it the way I wanted it.

Same here. I do wish I had power windows but I got a hell of a deal on mine so I dont complain. Mine already had the bushwacker fender flairs on it when I got it but since Ive owned it I color match painted my grill and im gonna paint my mirrors.

Yes some wt don't come with ac, my truck is the next step up from the base model I have carpet and roll up windows,I like roll ups better than power

I bought my 2001 4.3 from the fleet counter at Love Chevrolet in Columbia, SC. My truck is a longbed and came with a basic radio, no carpet (which I LOVE) and the hideous steel wheels.

Within a few months I had replaced the steel wheels with a brand new set of Suburban wheels, the Chrome Grille insert, and an overhead console with reading lights.

I love my truck and it has been a great purchase with only a few major repairs. I am actually replacing the intake manifold gaskets this weekend after finally finding a small leak on the back of the intake. I guess my good luck with this common problem finally came to an end.
