Hello All, I'm looking to replace my spark plugs with some GM Iridiums but I can't find any spark plug gap info.... Anyone have any idea's
A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof
is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

Re: Anyone The Spark Plug Gap....

The gap for a 2007 Silverado, with the 4.8L engine is 0.040 inches. In fact, it's the same for all engines with the exception of the 4.3 and 8.1 liter engines. It's on page 610 of your manual.
Also, irridiums come pre-gapped. You should not have to change it. If you decide to mess with it, know that the electrode is fairly brittle, so be very careful if you are verifying or adjusting the plug.
