Parameter Settings

Predator Programmer

Postby Watonga68 [OP] » Jan 25 2011, 4:22pm

I have a 08 Silverado 4.8 L 4x2. I have the Flowmaster 40, K&N CAI, and the Predator programmer. I have it set to the 87 Octane setting, but does anyone know how to change the parameter settings for the transmission? I don't want to turn the Torque Management System all the way off, but I would like to be able to break the tires loose once in a while, and it only has when it's raining. My 95 Sierra, with only 205 hp from the factory would smoke the tires all day long. Any Suggestions?

Sup! I'm from Pawnee, Oklahoma! Small town for sure.

On the Predator when you load the tune, there should be an option to customize the tune before you load it. There you can change tire size, gears, speed limiter, etc. Is that what you're lookin for?

What's up? Actually, I have read where you can adjust the torque management settings, but I can't figure out how to do so. I also don't know how to adjust the fuel to reflect to CAI. Mustang, OK by the way.

Hmm, I've only ever messed with one gasser predator unit and it wasn't for long. My buddy who owns a shop here could probably figure it out or at least get a hold of his rep to find out. (Saves us an annoying phone call to Diablo)

I'm in OKC, maybe we can figure it out in a parking lot somewhere?

edit: what's the part # on your diablo?

U7194 is the part number. I had a Predator on my 01 Silverado Duramax. It would crank it up to 420shp and around 700lbs of torque. It was sick and would burn off my 33 inch Nittos. I will load up an old pick of it. It just ended up costing too much in repairs keeping it running.
