spark plugs

Postby 994.8rado [OP] » Sep 20 2013, 6:46am

I bought the 4509 plugs at Wal-Mart. They were expensive as hell but got them all and now they might be wrong. They are the platinum Bocsh Fusion, are they ok to use in my '01 4.8l Silverado?

I wouldn't use them... ive heard too many people complain about bosch platinums. I only use AcDelco or NGK Iridiums...

The last time I replaced plugs in my 05 using Bosch, I lost 2 MPG, never again.

Ac-delco iridiums are the best plugs for the stock Silverado unless you have modded the engine.

I believe ac delco 41-110 should b the iridiums. 5 bucks and change at rockauto. Plus they've got a mail in rebate. $2 a plug back for the iridiums.

I always ran NGK Iridiums and never had a problem with them. I think I got them for 7 bucks a piece at Advance Auto. NGK IMO
