We went to our local 1/8th mile strip (which is typically a tenth slow) for a little 5.3 shootout! There were 4 of us altogether. Myself, Choda, Billy aka mindless, and Joe aka foureyed. These trucks are our TOW RIGS for our race cars so we weren't too serious (except for Choda, lol, see his dyno thread in here). I'll give you a brief rundown of how each truck is setup:

joelster, 2008 Silverado ext cab, 2WD, 5.3 flex fuel
Choda, 2009 Silverado ext cab, Z71 4WD, 5.3 flex fuel, Volant CAI, New Era tune, exhaust
Billy, 2010 Silverado ext cab, Z71 4WD, 5.3
Joe, 2009 GMC Sierra ext cab, 4WD, 5.3, slightly bigger tires

joelster= 10.36 at 69.56
Choda= 10.51 at 69.00
Billy= 10.64 at 67.85

Here's a few videos! This is me vs Billy. I actually cut a good light (.535 on a .500 tree), Billy redlit which is why he's slightly ahead in the beginning. My truck has some topend though for whatever reason:



Choda vs mindless , you can't see the results but Choda in the right lane won a 10.5x to a 10.6x

Wow! That's pretty crazy... I didn't expect Choda to not win the overall results!
