5.3L Engine Cover

How to remove?

5.3L Engine Cover

Postby Jerkyking [OP] » Aug 18 2011, 9:12pm

The 5.3L on my Avalanche had a similar cover which had two clips in the rear and one 7mm bolt in a recessed hole holding it on...

How does the plastic cover on this 5.3 come off? I don't see any bolts but it looks like the clips I'm used to in back. I don't want to break it by assuming its just the clips holding it on.

Thanks.

There are no bolts it just pops off. I have removed mine to paint it it is held on by a few pins that snap into rubber holders on the cover.
