Here's mine: I put some flat black down, and then put some fire-engine red in the "VORTEC" area, to give it some pop (plus, it matches my CAI filter). Finished it off with 3 coats of clear; I'm pretty happy with it.

Good job guys both trucks look great. Glad I was able to post a useful suggestion. I am thinking about doing the fuse box cover next but I have to decide what I want to do there. Then I may add a CAI in the spring I am waiting on one from CAI I have one of theirs on my Camaro and I love it. They are releasing a truck line in the spring so I want to see what they have to offer. On vacation next week camping and going to see 3 MLB games Yankee Stadiun, Citi Field, and then Progressive Field in Cleveland so the truck will be getting plenty of use pulling my 5th wheel trailer.

If you want to protect fom bleed over under the tape, hit it with the paint color under the tape first. This will seal the edges of the tape... If you have a black cover under the tape, after you get done taping it spray it with a paint to match. Let it dry... then spray your areas that are not taped. Make sense? I havent done this myself... but saw the technique on PowerBlock TV once. If I wasnt in the middle of a major move, I would try this mod this weekend if my to-do list permitted it... great idea from the OP! It will be done at some point... :geek:

That red and black color scheme looked so clean i had to do it for myself but since my truck is black i swapped all the red for the black and vice versa
