Looks great and that is one clean engine bay, what do you do to keep looking so good and what would you suggest to get one clean that has'nt been cleaned in a while or maybe never?

It was not all that clean two weeks ago I just washed it then. I followed the advice I got on here used a garden hose on a cool engine avoided spraying the electrical stuff too hard. Used an all purpose cleaner (a knock off of simple green) and let it soak for a few minutes then lightly scrubbed the plastic and metal parts that were flat. Hosed it off and sprayed on the cleaner again on any spots that still looked dirty. Hosed it off one last time and started it and ran it on idle for about 15 min with the hood closed to dry it out. Took like 20 min and I can't believe how easy it was. Now I have only had the truck 8 months so it may take a little more work to remove a few years of dirt but I would do it if I were you. I will probably do it every few months (except winter) to keep up on it.

That looks so good. I want to do that. How hard to get the cover off and what tool will be required?
Thanks.
