I was so happy with the way mine came out I decided to try it out on the Silverado. Really easy to do except for the masking part that takes patience. I used a razor knife to trim the tape when needed. Best part it only cost $6 for the Krylon fusion paint. What do you guys think.

Looks great. I'm working on mine and masking it is the hard part. Hopefully I'll get to work some more on it tomorrow. I'm looking to do a gloss black & silver to match my truck.

Looks sharp, Stan! It goes good with your chrome CAI, too.

LILMAGOO1- All i used was automotive paint thinned down for an airbrush, there is no need for high temp spray paint as the cover doesnt come in contact with any hot items, high temp is good for engine blocks and headers and such. just go get your self some masking tape, a scotch bright and a good can of krylon.. oh and post pics when you are done!!

magoo- go to autozone or a paint shop and get a can color matched to your truck... that would look sick to color match it

Mad- spary light/medium coats and wait 15 minutes between coats until you achieve the coverage you want. you can use high heat paint, but IMO it is a waste of money to buy it when a good ol' can of krylon and a good scuffing work just as good.
