I haven't seen this on my truck, but it seems self explanatory. You're overheating and the pcm's shutting off the a/c. You need to fix the overheat condition.

it says this all the time even in the morning after sitting 10-12 hours.

id scan for codes, you have some kind of temp sensor issue then.

I thought I read another thread that this problem needs an ecm flash update. Call the dealer and ask if this is a known problem.

HAS TEMP SENSOR CHANGED AND SO FAR IT FIXED THE PROBLEM
