Have you notice any leaks or big drops in your fuel gage? I have the same truck as you and just about the same mods. So I believe that it's nothings you've done, I think its a leak somewhere.

Check the filler pipe to the gas tank right after you fill up, for leaks.

When you get a chance after you run the truck and smell the fuel again, look under the truck and see if you have a fuel leak and I agree with Z15 check the neck after you fill up.

You may have fueled up too far. The gas that comes out of the storage tanks this time af year is still very chilled. When you fill up your tank in the warm summer air, it expands rapidly and leaks out the filler. Then you wentr home parked the truck and it cooled in the night air. As you got in the truck today and it warmed up, the gas began to expand and leak again.

Therefore, it was Professor Plumb in the library with the pipe wrench. :o
