i have a 2000 silverado 4x4 5.3L engine have a p0300 misfire code and 6 8 and 5 misfire can feel it at idle and can barly go above 2000 rpms misses real bad and check engine light will start flashing ive changed cyl 6 8 and 5 coils all the plugs and wires check fuel psi and its right around 50 psi and it holds there when you urn the key off i check compression on all cylinder and they all are 160 i also tried and new egr valve sprayed brake clean all around the intake manifold and no change in rpm also checked fuel psi regulator its good to also changed fuel filter about a month ago dont no wat else it could be can someone please tell me wat to check or wat the problem is thax

Could be the lower intake gasket, which won't show up on a brake cleaner check. Other thing to do.is unplug your MAF and see of the problem goes away.

How many miles does it have? Could it a plugged cat?

I unplugged the maf doesnt changed tryck has 101xxx miles dont think cat is plugged will usually smell rotten eggs anything ekse cause a missfire

Lower intake gaskets is all I can come up with. You don't have a blown injector fuse do you?

No I checked all the fuses and swapped relay woukdnt a intake gasket give a high reading on map sensor

It might give lean codes, but mine only sporadically threw those. Sometimes I had them other times I did not. Hopefully someone will chime in here with some other ideas.

Some members have had good luck with a crank sensor relearn, but that was with the 6.0. It also was cylinder specific, like #6 misfire. I think in your case it has to be something that affects more than one cylinder simultaneously. That really narrows it down.

yea im gonna try swappin injectors if that doesnt change anything i will do the lower intake manifold gasket i hope that fixes it im been messin wit this truck for 2 months im almost out of options something gotta fix it

HELLO... I beleave that your 5.3 eng needs 60 psi fuel.....being off by 10 psi will give you your problem....check it out >>> good luck
