Range AFM Delete

Postby crazynights [OP] » May 19 2017, 6:14pm

Hey everyone,
Have a question and was wondering if anyone may have an answer.

So I bought an AFM delete. On my DIC is stays constant on V8 (which is what i want). However, when slowing down to an off ramp I notice it goes on the MPG 16 to 99 and it sorta sounds like it's kicking into V4, but the display still says V8. Is this normal and it's in V8? Or should it always remain around 16-18 MPG even when slowing down from 75 MPH to an off ramp or just slowing down from a 60 +?
Thank you.

That's normal. When decelerating, Instant MPG will go up to 99MPG. The real test of the Range device is constant V8 mode.

Everything is fine. If your gliding at 60 mph then you are getting great mileage and it shows on DIC cause mathematically your moving at a great rate of speed and not using gas pedal. It's normal and correct.
