i wouldnt count on them being red. Thats probably just a photo to reprosent the product. not what you will get.

They will match your truck!!! seriously, as stated above, they may not be red ones they send to you.

by the look at these spark plug wire, it look exactly like my 01 camaro z28 LS1, their a dude on ls1tech, he made his own MSD plug wire, his set only cost 56 dollar , Imma try contact him to see if he can made it for our 5.3 engine, I post some pix if I got him from.

Edit : I found him, he actually have his own website now. His set list for gm 99+ 5.3L truck cost $62 free s/h, But I email him to make sure it fix and see if it fix the stock spark plug boot heat shield, since he not sponsor here, im not post his website, but if you need his info, just pm.

btw about the spark plug boot metal shield, how do you take that off ? its come out with wire or it have to be pull first then pull the wire, or pull the wire first then pull the heat shield ?

When I changed the plugs on our old 02 Tahoe I just grabbed the metal shield with a pair of needle nose pliers and pulled both off together.

OEM. the MSD stuff is designed for there ignition not our trucks. the resistance is different and the shielding is not good enough to protect all the electronics in our trucks. . MSD stuff is for carborated race cars.
