I believe they have been irridiums since about....2007 or 8? My 2004 did not have irridiums, but when I did the plugs in it (around 2008) that was all the rage, and they were coming that way from the factory by then.

quick update, ac delco plug having rebate atm. I call them and ask if advance auto part is accept, they say it fine, any retailer will be accept,

order 8 plug from advance auto part for about $50, and add A123 to discount code $20 off $50, total should be 30 something dollar, mail in rebate for $2 dollar each iridium , should be $16 , after rebate and everything 8 ac delcom iridium should cost under $20, use the rest moneys for good plug wire

Man! I just bought my plugs today! I may take them back though for $2 off per plug! Where do I find more info on this??

sorry I total forgot about this thread, been a long day at work, I was at rockauto looking up some part #, I came across it and found the rebate, and about advance auto part, I alway order online and using discount code, google advance auto part discount code, and these code work ALL the time save me alot moneys over the years. That is where I shop , code never work with oil, but gear oil it work, and some time tranmission fluid too.

I have also found you can look the part numbers up on Advance's website, then check amazon.com for the same part number. Sometimes you can get parts for half as much from them. Also they normally have free shipping (and no tax).

Got them put in today, can already tell a difference in how smooth it idles.

Just ordered my plugs from Amazon after seeing this post. Free shipping, and after the rebate I saved $35 off the normal price at Advance Auto Parts. I didn't have plans to replace the plugs but I can't pass up a deal this good since the plugs in the truck now have about 80,000 miles on them.
