Hi great forum...first post
I have a 2000 chevy silverado with a very high (1500rpm) idle. I get a P0507 DTC. This is what I have done to date: Replaced IAC, MAF, TPS, Fuel pressure regulator, PVC valve. If I goose the throttle cable by the throttle body it revs to 2500 rpm then comes back down to 1500 rpm. It does this whether truck is cold ar warmed up. I found no vacuum leaks, in fact I can take the vacuum line off the fuel pressure regulator and the idle speed stays the same. I get 65 psi at the fuel rail at idle. Any ideas???

I would check to make sure the throttle body is not hanging open slightly due to carbon buildup.

Is the truck a throttle body? My Pontiac Firebird 305 TBI had a high idle that no one could figure out..I paid $2.61 and replaced the throttle body gasket and it fixed the problem perfectly..the gasket had disintegrated and created a vacuum leak. I had checked the IAC, Coolant Temp Sensor,and all vacuum lines before I tried the gasket...
