6.2 vs 6.0 Max

6.2 vs 6.0 Max

Postby GeneralLee01 [OP] » Mar 17 2013, 4:55am

I am selling my 3500 duramax to either get another non dually duramax or a half ton gas. I could either go with a 2008 SLT CC 4wd sierra with the 6.0 max motor or a 2009 silverado ec 4wd with the 6.2. I really like the SLT interior, and the 6.2 is a LT. What would you guys choose? The SLT has navi, and sunroof.

6.0l sucks compared to the 6.2l. The 6.2l has alot more power and a lot better milage. The 6.2L all the way.

What they said, and I own a 6.0 max. It all came down to money for me, the 6.2s I could find were 10k more at the time.

6.0 is a good workhorse motor, but it's not really built for speed. Get the 6.2 ;)

OR, you could save the money and transform your Duramax into something twice as fast as any 6.2 out there :D.
