Belt replacement is a very easy job. Your belt tensioner should have a connection to insert a 12' breaker bar to relieve the tension to R&R the belt.

like said before just follow the diagram and use a good breaker bar to help get the belt put on. I personally like the Goodyear Gatorbelt, while others prefer the OE style belt
Crap, my hampster fell off the wheel and it broke its leg.

I meant to say "1/2 drive breaker bar." You might have a clumsy time with a 12' breaker bar. Sorry.

Hmmm... I wonder where I can get a 12' breaker bar?
Thanks for the tips, guys- I watched a how-to video on You Tube, and it looks pretty easy. I might just wait until I get my throttle body spacer, since the intake tube has to come off to access the belt, anyway.

While you have the belt off i would check your pulleys too to make sure they spin relatively easy. If not you might as well replace them while you already have the belt off. As this could be from worn out bearing in the pulleys. Might save you some time in the long run

Good idea. I did the belt on Saturday, and the whole engine bay sounds quiet, now, compared to the older belt.
I had two bearing\pulley issues in my old Sierra, so hopefully I can catch anything that happens with my current truck before it gets too bad.
