Hi looking for alittle help i'm haveing trouble removeing old codes from yesterday useing a code buddy i have repaired the problems. code buddy says removed but they keep coming back. can/ should i just disconnect the bat. for a few min. or just wait? THANKS problems started like this (1) engine lite came on few months ago only blinked a couple times that i noticed . i was busy and i seemed to gain alittle gas milage so i left it alone 3 days ago lite started blinking. So i checked it out. (2) 1st. code po305 = #5 cyl. missfire code 2 camshaft sensor. i am getting ready for a trip back up north and return with heavy items so i replaced cam sensor and found broken/heat damaged spark plug wire. replaced all spark wires and plugs . (3) after cam sensor done test drive not good. new code was uo107 = lost communication with throttle actuator control. so i checked everything for pinched wire checked wires on throttle body housing all ok. found online one ground wire for this act. module (which is throttle body system module) was almost totally broken off. i must have shaken it abit removeing intake. I then grounded to battery. That seem to do it. also had a code of randem missfire but that one has not come back. Now po305 code =#5 missfire keeps coming back i remove it with code buddy start driveing lite foot seems ok getting on highway or up large hill/load lite starts blinking again. truck is running good and bunch of power.Any help would be great.
