I've replaced the throttle body ,position sensor and the wiring harness to it and once a week it still throws a TPS code and the truck has power loss. I unplugged the wiring and plug it back on let it idle for bout 15 minutes and don't have another problem for a week or so ... DRIVING ME NUTS.... Plz help
The electrical signals on this part of the throttle body are very sensitive. Unplugging it, means that you have reset the code, and possibly eliminated any voltage issues. I found this article, perhaps it will help. OBD
Also you could try this: removed the harness plugs to the ECM/PCM and spray them with WD-40 and blast it clean with compressed air. Wiggled the wires around to see if any feel loose. Put it back together. If it continues to happen get a pin release tool Summit racing Snap-On, also sells them. The next time it happens, and re-crimp the offending wires.
I used non insulated connectors, soldered and used heat shrink tubing to seal. Fixed same problem for me after new pedal sensor and new throttle body failed to help. Connections on harness to TB are critical
