If it works or not i am not sure because i did not do a before and after test. i just used up all the crap fuel the dealer put in replaced it with 93 oct and reset the ECM.

Sounds logical to me. Please let me know what #'s they are and I will try it. All I use is 93 but, like you, I don't know what the dealer put in.

Smokey I believe the fuse numbers are 12 and 56 but don't quote me on that. I looked at the fuse diagram and you want to pull the ones marked ECM IGN. and ECM Batt i believe. Those are the only ones that coincide with the ECM fuse's on the Camaro. I would just read up on the fuse pull on Camaro5.com and then go from there. Just make sure you have the factory tune installed not an aftermarket tune on your ECM.

But again i am not sure if those are the correct ones make sure you read up first.

I contacted GM customer service on this issue. I received an E-mail and phone call. I simply copied the question in the first post, and presented it to them. The only change in the question, I let them know in California, 91octane is the highest pump available gasoline. Both replied with, "for your truck the ECM is self correcting" (my truck being a California bought 2013 with the MAX TRAILER TOW).

Great info. Interesting that they don't do that for the L99 Camaros though.

I ADVISE NO ONE TO DO THIS!!

Had to leave so put everything back, now getting the "Engine Power Reduced" on the dic and truck tries to start but will not.

Truck is stupid fast. :o :o I could never make my Federal Couragia MT 285/70R17 chirp before.

I see brakes in the future and a good 2nd quarter for shell and chevron.

Ignore the check engine light. Its just code because i did not put the fuse back in the right spot at first.
