So, I'm having all sorts of issues with my inTune. When I saw that TCM control was added I figured I would try to update my unit. I decided to re-install my stock settings before I did anything, and boy am I glad I did. I never did install the intune program on my computer when I first bought the unit, but I figured I would do that now and then update it to current. Well for some reason my intune does not want to play nice with either of my two computers. Even though I can see the intune.exe file when its plugged into the computer, the computer keeps telling me that the driver is not found. I requested help on the intune forum and am awaiting a response. After it didn't work, I decided I would go re-install the Diablo tune into my truck, while the compter issues got figured out. Well now that doesn't work either. When plugged into the port of my truck and the install tune icon pressed, the unit starts processing, but never stops. It never gets to the tune selection screen anymore. Needless to say I am pretty frustrated. To top it all off I honestly don't really notice any difference from when I had the Diablo tune installed to the stock (which I believe is installed, but I'm almost doubting that at the moment, based on my issues). Just figured I would share my experiences. Right now I have to say I am regretting my purchase of this unit and may end up selling it in the near future.

Your tuner is stuck because it is not updated fully plug it back in your computer and find the diablo updater and right click it and run it it will take a long time so just walk away for a while also save your stock tunes on a computer always in case of tool issues
There is also a thread on the Intune forum to walk u thru this good luck

OSD, I tried right clicking and running the auto-updater, but I keep getting an error message (tried on two different computers). Thats part of my problem. I have requested help on the Diablo inTune forum and am awaiting their response.

Both my computers are running Windows Vista-64. I'll read the link and see if it offers any in-sight. Thanks OSD.

make sure your user account on the pc's are administrator accounts... disable the UAC crap (User Account control) for your user account...

right-click the file and choose Run as Administrator....

and yeah, as was mentioned above, sounds like you didn't let it finish doing all it's updates.. there were quite a few, and it takes a little while.. even requires a couple of disconnect-from-pc / reconnect-to-pc to let the get the next set of updates.. one of the updates you have to run the cdrom.exe file from it, etc etc...

give tech support a call... have the tool with ya...

Re: InTune Tunes: My thoughts so far.

So I finally go the intune to update. I can now say I am a believer in the unit! The Diablo Tune coupled with the firm shift setting has provided a noticable improvement to stock settings. Over the weekend took the truck up to Northen Maine and towed my boat the whole way. Not that I had an issue before, but the 6.2 didn't even seem to notice the added weight. A couple times found that I was doing 75-80mph on the highway without even noticing it. Still utilized tow/haul on steep hills and getting going from a stop. In any case the inTune is a great programmer, once it is all up to date. Thanks to those that helped me through my computer issues.
