Highest i can fine is 90, so its tuned to that. Just got the tune yesterday so can't see if there is a MPG change yet.

Just out of curiosity, where did you see a 100hp gain with a cam swap?

Did he get your 0-60 and 0-90 off of the dyno? Or are these just the HPTuners estimates?

I haven't swapped a cam yet, but people were seeing gains up to that over on performancetrucks.net

Those times were from HPTuners.

AK, I hear the tune really wakes up the lazy tranny manors. I'm going with the tune after my headers and gear change. Then instead of a tow haul mode button its going to the haul ass mode button. This is just my .02 but once you crack these LS engines open the reliability takes a header. I'm sharing your same reserves of staying warranty compliant and just bolting on some shorty headers. Heck anything will out flow the stockers. If you can get 375HP to the rear tires then you should easily be turning high 13's in the 1/4. thats figured on a curb weight of 5K lbs. my 2wd ext. cab tips the scales at 5080lbs. Wish I could find a sweet deal on a tuner like you did. I was quoted $300 for the initial tune and $20 for a reflash. Happy Holidays and enjoy the beast.

Man how things changed in 2 months, I got the full exhaust now & new gears and a dyno tune...AK get that rig on the dyno so we can see some numbers. I'm doing a cam swap this month but you won't even hear the cam but it will pump 40 more hp to the tires and that will push my 6.2 over 400hp. And I can reuse all my valvetrain and keep the stock torque converter. Check out the LS9 cam that cost less than $100 over the counter at GM. AK are you getting all this, I bet your probably turning wrenches on the Silver Bullet right now...LOL

Not concerned with a Dyno at all. All my tuning is done on the streets where I want to notice the difference the most. Dyno's are great if you got one but not necessary. Just cause you are able to get 10 more hp on a dyno doesn't mean it's going to be better on the street for ya. My tuner and I usually spend a track day together every time I make a change and log each run, make a few changes and make another run and use my feed back to get it dialed in exactly how I want it to run.

I see you went with Shorty headers in another post, why did you go with shortys? Everything I have heard is that they are barley an increase over stock and not worth the money. I am sure the yielded some gains but LT's I think would have really made the biggest difference.

I looked into a LS9 cam but for a little more I can get a custom ground cam that is set to exactly what I want my truck to do and especially since I will be going with a higher stall I want to make sure my cam matches that perfectly. I can get a custom ground cam for around 400 to my door which isn't to bad. Plus I love the sound of an aggressive cam and a nice aggressive lope =)

So in your pictures in your sig you have a super charger. Do you have that installed yet or is that in the works?
