I just noticed some people have spark plugs under their avatar and some have pistons. I like the theme and how it changes depending on your post count but was curious is spark plugs for regular members and the pistons for mods?

Kinda would rather have the pistons moving under my av instead of spark plugs

You get a spark plug for every 10 posts, up to 80 (level 1). Then, you switch to pistons (level 2). You get a moving piston for every 100 posts. Austin (our Admin) has not yet determined what happens beyond 800 posts--with the exception of koolz71, no one is close!

For the most part, our members do a great job with their contributions to this forum. Not many post things just to raise their post count, which is very appreciated.

Thanks for the great question, aksierra11! BTW, I love your signature picture as well. Did you make that, or did Austin do it? I really need to work on one.

Ahh gotcha, figured there was some sort of scale to it. The signature I started then had a buddy on another forum I am on tweak it and finish it for me (http://www.r6-forum.com)

Hmm.. I have 4k post on the other forum.. can I be grandfathered in to at least running on two cylinders LOL

The ranks.php page should clarify for you what each rank signifies, the requirements to obtain each ranking, and the corresponding rank titles.
