-12 offset 17x9" and 33's on leveled '08

Postby Blakelocati [OP] » Jul 28 2011, 7:10am

Hey guys. I have a leveled '08 Silverado. I saw a really good deal on some used rims on eBay that had -12 offset. Do you guys think my 285/75/17 (33x11.5x17) will fit on the -12 offset 17's without too much trimming?

Thanks!
Blake

The rear will be fine your gonna trim up front unless u lift the body its when u turn they gonna rub on the body on the bottom and the plastic liner in the rear on the driver side and the front on the pass side careful there are some wires behind the liners

Better plan on doing a bunch of trimming to run that offset. Might want to look for one with a +18 or something close to that.

-12 offset 17x9" and 33's on leveled '08

Postby gmctruckguy » Jan 18 2012, 1:57am

If they are 17x7.5 and -12mm offset they will just stick out 43mm further than the factory rims.
The gray rim is the factory and the green one is your -12mm.

But OP Said they are 17x9 which means a ton of poke for a leveled truck....
