Hi. I have an 07 silverado crew cab Z71. I installed a rc 2 inch leveling kit. I'm thinking of upgrading rims and tires. Iam goin to go to 18 inch rims but don't know what offset to look for. I would like 305s but don't know if they will fit without rubbing.

If anyone has upgrade their rims with the 2 inch rc level kit, what offset did you look for.

You should run a 285/65R18 tire. If you want the wheel to sit even with, or inside the fender you should run a +15mm or higher offset. If you want them to stick out past the fender you should run a +10mm or lower into the negative offset. The lower (more negative) the offset the more they will stick out. Keep in mind, the more they stick the more you will need to trim.

If you use a wheel that is even with the fender you will not need to do any trimming. +18mm is ideal.

On the other hand the do look better sticking out in my opinion, & trimming is not a big deal when it is done right.
I will post some picks in the next week or so of how we do it without making your fender well look like crap.
