Best product to clean/polish my rims?

Best product to clean/polish my rims?

Postby 09 SIERRA ON 24s [OP] » Jan 02 2012, 11:22pm

I have 24" Miror Focus alloy rims and was curious what product I should use to clean/polish them. Ive heard many stories of guys ruining their rims from using the wrong product and i want to ensure I dont do the same. Currently I just use soap and water which works ok, but if there is other stuff out there thats tried and true Id like to give it a shot. Any help would be greately appreciated.

Polished aluminum or chrome? In any case get a mothers powerball a drill and a tin of the proper polish for your metal. Works wonders

I use Meguiars All Wheel Cleaner every so often when they are really gunked up. But mostly, just soap and water and a little hard work with the wash mitt. No worries about damage then.

The best wheel cleaner is the one specified for your specific wheels I use the hotwheels CHROME best and easiest dont even have to scrub just spray it on wait afew minutes and and whash it off with water this stuff gets all the hard stuck on grime just an idea but it works great for me
