Biggest rim/tire for stock 2008

Postby Kenny911 [OP] » Oct 21 2011, 8:43pm

Hey guys, Im trying to find out the biggest tire/rim that I could fit on my 2008 Chevy Silverado 2WD. I was thinking about leveling it out as well but just trying to see what my options are. Thanks.

It's really dependent upon personal preference first. What size wheel do you really want to put under your truck, then tire size can be answered for both with and without a leveling kit.

18s are by no means the largest diameter wheel that you can fit on your truck. In fact that is only one inch up from the smallest diameter wheel, 17" that will fit. Folks who want larger wheels go for 20 or even 22". I'm running 18s with 265/60/18 with no level. I think my truck is a truck and want to leave it that way. There are many threads on different forums with lots of information on road, all season, off road and etc tires, the corresponding sizes and the various overall wheel/tire diameters that folks run. IMO, your question is far to general to answer with a simple answer. A search through the various truck forums will bring you a wealth of information.
