Personally I'm not a fan of the blacking out mods, but if you like it thats all that matters. How did you paint them, powdercoat?

I used a spray paint called Plasti-Dip. I can peel it off when I get tired or it.

The more coats the better. A buddy of mine has it on his bumber. He says he can still go through a car wash. I haven't yet taken mine in one yet, but I have to say I hope I put enough coats. Im on my way to find out. Let you know what happens. Thanks for the recent comments.

Just came back from the car wash and they held up pretty good, as well as the emblems.

I don't like it... but I'm NOT important as it relates to how you like your truck!

Some of my mods probably make others say things I probably wouldn't want to hear or repeat.

I am a fan of individuality... if we all had the same opinions, we would all have the same truck... in fact we would all have the same taste in spouses... and I'm NOT sharing!!

I do think you have done a great job in customizing your truck.

I think it looks cool. My guy at the customizing shop was telling me about the plasti coat. He is planning on using it on his bathtub. Yep, bathtub. He bought a fixer upper house that came with the 1950's poodle pink bathroom. Instead of removing and replacing bathtub, he is planning on plasti coating it. I think that is very interesting. Not sure if it comes in different colors or if he is going to have a black bathtub. I guess it will cut down on ring around the tub.. :)
