Hi guys (and girls =) )
Wondering if anyone has this tire or has info on it. The reviews I can find seem pretty good and it's a nasty looking tire. I am just concerned about ice in the winter time, I'm certain with plain 'ol snow it will be insane. Please let me know. The price is really good for a M/T tire too!

The Road Venture MT KL71 is a Mud Terrain Light Truck & SUV tire and the tread pattern is pretty wicked... but I don't know that I trust overseas tires as much as I do ones that are made in America.

That too is a concern of mine. Not to mention I really like to "buy local" and support us. I will say that a rep from discount tire direct called me and made an offer to me with the Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac. An offer that is really good and the ratings and reviews I read seem to be very much favorable. Thanks for the feedback, I think that I have made up my mind on the Duratrac. I'll be sure to review them when I have them on.

i have always had good luck with the BFGoodrich All terrain TA. I look at it like this.the nastier the tread..the shorter the tread life..i know i got 50k on the set on my colly before i wrecked it

I have friends with both of these tires and from my experience riding on these rubbers I would have to say the Khumo rides much smoother and is silent on the road but the STT does much better on trails and in the mud, both are on 2001 and 2002 z71's
