Most aggressive tire with the best gas mileage.

@OP - How come you say the Duratracs won't fit on your truck when you have 17's? I could understand if you had 20's because the smallest size is around 33.5", but for 17s they come in a variety of sizes.

Thoughts?

When you say "mileage", are you looking for a tire that will last for a lot of miles, or a tire that will give a good MPG? Duratracs and BFG's are not going to be a high MPG tire. In that case, look at Revo's and Michelin. But they will not be as aggressive looking.

I have cooper AT3's and my gas mileage is darn near the same as my stock tires were. I think they are the best of both worlds...a little aggressive looking but no sacrificing of MPG. Awesome tire!

Fuzzy,
I tried the AT3 just before I bought my Michelin AT2. I thought the cooper was very loud as compared to stock and others I have owned. What is your experience?

EK, I have the opposite experience. they are no louder than my duratracs were. I love these tires...not sure why your experience is so different.

I meant as compared to OEM Bridgstone Dueller's. The Cooper's were super loud compared to them, and compared to my previous experience with Bridgestone Revo's.

As FYI, my Michelin AT2 are quiet, have great snow and rain traction. But, they don't look aggressive as compared to most A/T tires.

MPG-and I know in going to sacrifice some for aggressiveness. I'm ok with that...

yeah, you and I have two totally different experiences. I was and still am shocked that my AT3's feel and sound no different than my duellers did. Did you have a bigger size or something? I am talking about 265's.

I liked BFG Rugged-terrain. They have an aggressive side profile but will not kill you on the highway an you can off road.
